1. Delete from inside the app
- Open Auramika and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm with the OTP sent to your registered mobile.
This is the fastest path. Your account is locked immediately and erased within 30 days.
2. Delete by email request
Send an email from your registered email address to care@auramika.in with the subject line "Delete my Auramika account" and your registered mobile number. We will verify identity and process the request within 30 days, with confirmation sent to you.
3. What is deleted
- Profile, name, email, phone, addresses.
- Aura quiz responses, wishlist, cart, browsing history.
- Saved payment instruments and tokenised card references.
- Push and marketing preferences.
- Crash and analytics identifiers tied to your account.
4. What is retained & why
- Order & tax records — invoice, GST data, and payment trail are retained for up to 8 years to satisfy GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act record-keeping requirements.
- KYC & AML records — retained for 5 years under PMLA Rules where high-value purchases were made.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregate metrics that cannot identify you may be kept indefinitely.
- Fraud signals — minimal data needed to prevent re-onboarding of accounts terminated for fraud.
5. Pending orders
Account deletion cannot be processed while an order is in transit, pending payment, or under return / refund. Resolve any open order first, or write to support and we will guide you through.
6. Reactivation
Deletion is permanent. You can sign up again with the same email or mobile, but old data, history, and credits cannot be restored.
