Built to Last

Fine jewellery is the original slow fashion. A piece worn for fifty years leaves no landfill. Here is how we make sure ours reaches that mark.

1. Responsible gold sourcing

Every gram of gold used in Auramika Precious pieces is sourced from BIS-accredited refiners who adhere to LBMA (London Bullion Market Association) responsible sourcing standards. We do not use gold from conflict-affected or high-risk areas as defined by the OECD Due Diligence Guidance.

2. Certified gemstones

Our diamonds carry GIA, IGI, or SGL certification. Coloured gemstones — rubies, emeralds, sapphires, polki — are sourced from established Indian gem trading houses with documented supply chains. We do not knowingly source from mines with documented human-rights violations.

3. Supporting master karigars

Our pieces are made by six karigar families in Rajasthan and Maharashtra — some with over three generations of goldsmithing expertise. We pay above-market wages, provide health insurance for their families, and fund schooling for karigar children through a ₹2,00,000 annual education grant.

We believe the best sustainability metric is whether the craft survives the generation. We are investing to make sure it does.

4. Zero-waste packaging

5. Made to repair, not replace

Every Auramika piece comes with a lifetime workmanship guarantee. We have a repair programme — send us a piece from any generation and we will restore it. Replating, stone re-setting, and clasp repair are offered at cost, not profit. A piece repaired is a piece not replaced.

6. Our 2027 commitments
